…and because your baby’s hair is different than yours! Let us help you get the skinny on how to strengthen and grow long, strong, hair for your child…

Here’s a tip to maintaining the hair of your curly headed toddler: Shampooing too often can lead to dryness and frizz, especially when using products with sulfates and parabins. Aim for a no-poo or low-poo (no suds) and silicone- free shampoo.  Keep in mind that the tighter the curl, the less hair needs to be shampooed.

Also get rid of that comb and brush try using your fingers instead (finger combing). We guarantee, your toddler and you will be much happier, and their curls will begin to detangle easier.   Here are some shampooing suggestions for your child’s curl type,

Tight, kinky curls: 1 time per week
Medium curls: 1-2 times per week
Loose curls: 2-3 times per week
